Memoji Photo in Messages Appeared in MS Outlook used at my Work!!

Hi,

The problem is little bit weird, I have updated both my iPhone to iOS 13, and my iPad to iPadOS 13.1, I have updated my photo in messages and used my personalized memoji, by change, I found my Outlook at work reflecting this memoji as my display picture!!

  • I am using Windows 7 joining my companies domain.
  • Outlook 2010
  • We don't have access to download iTunes\iCloud drive for security reasons.

I just want to restrict the memoji in messages, leaving my Outlook, Apple ID profile ,,, etc untouched,

Hi MK,

See, I found something that might be useful, click on your photo, and that should reflect the Group of which this contact (and photo), belongs to, I found it under Suggested Contacts1.

Now, go to Contact (Usually Bottom Left of Outlook Window), locate the group (my case is Suggested Contacts1), it should provide a lot of e-mails of people you have contacted before, locate your card (Top right you can use the search), and I was able to find my card and delete it (Don't just go and hide the picture from Card's properties, the photo will still show !), now close and relaunch the outlook and the photo should be gone.

I am still trying to find the way that my Memoji got there, I am suspecting the iPad, since it has Outlook installed, and I noticed that Outlook Suggested Contacts1 Group is checked under my Contacts.app to sync, it should Sync what is there in mail, not the other way around.

Hi Eric,

It asks you whether you want to change the photo in Apple ID and My Card, if I choose USE, then it will update both, if I choose NOT NOW, then I think it will update the messages only.

Now, by mistake, I did it choose USE by mistake but not sure about the photo, because I rushed to change it back, however, this should not be reflected into my Outlook !!.

This happened to me, too! I followed directions to take the Memoji off my messages, but it's still appearing in my Apple ID profile (with no option to delete) and in Outlook. It's not being sent in Outlook (I've tried several tests), but appears to me. Meanwhile, when I go to File, Account Information in Outlook, no image appears for me to delete or change. I would be mortified if that silly Memoji becomes visible within my professional organization.
