Hello! I use my hotspot (iPhone SE) for my mobile work device and since the upgrade to the latest iOS, I’m unable to connect to the internet via my hotspot. I have another Apple device that is on an old iOS, and I can use and connect via that hotspot with no problem! I’ve tried reboots and did the latest release this morning. Thoughts? Anyone else seeing this issue?

No Hotspot issues till updated to 13.2 on iPhone 8. After update, Hotspot was turned off and Personal Hotspot screen in Settings appeared to have the On/Off switch deleted from the top. Tried all fixes I could find recommended on discussions and none worked. A knowledgable user suggested I bring up the shortcuts screen (swipe up from bottom of screen, even if locked) and go to the top left box where there are toggles for Airplane mode, WiFi, Bluetooth and Cellular Data. If I touch and hold on that box, a larger box with six switches comes up. The same four switches are in that box but also one for Airdrop and one for Personal Hotspot. By touching the Personal Hotspot switch, I now have my network access again. Made my day!
Agreed, this has been dragging on forever. Even a statement of acknowledgement of some sort... would at least let us know they’re working on it. Maybe it isn’t impacting enough users. I use my phone as a hotspot for my work laptop, this has really made me consider alternatives to Apple. I get tired of all the issues, especially something that should be a bread and butter function.
I don't think your issue is the same as the rest of us. You did not have your Hotspot on? That is of course helpful. But the main issue on this thread, I believe, is not that--the hotspot is not on. Rather, when the computer connects to the hotspot, it cannot get Internet Access. The only solution for that I have found is the command prompt "ipconfig/release", followed by "ipconfig/renew". Have not found a way to make this stop happening otherwise. And... my hotspot is on and connected.
But congratulations! Glad your issue was fixed. It is always a relief to have technology working again! Now that you are connected, hopefully you don't next run into the issue the rest of us seem to being having with the IP address assignment. :)
It doesn't seem that the 13.3.1 update has helped out my hot spot issues. Has anyone seen any relief from the update? I still am getting a DNS error. Ugh. Anyone discussing a class action lawsuit yet? Im game. My team have been disabled in the field since OCTOBER!
So I also have same problem Kindle fire, acer tablet and Dell computer all connect to iPhone SE.. but Io internet service!! I called Apple support to basically be told my phone is to old!! It worked fine in October 2019!! Then the phone got an update..13.3.1 ! support would not admit the update was the problem but suggested I too it into a Apple store where they would tell me the same the phone is to old!! Any solution greatly appreciated...... why should I pay when there at fault?!
Still didn't work for me. It connects initially (like it always did), but as soon as it disconnects for any reason, it fails to reconnect and says failed, like it was doing before. This is so frustrating that apple has not fixed this yet.

I am using a Dell Latitude 5500 computer with Windows 7. In order to enter "ipconfig /release" I first needed to open the command prompt by going to START and then enter CMD in the search box (followed by enter). I then entered the steps you suggested ( "ipconfig /release" (enter) followed by "ipconfig /renew" (enter).
Reset of network settings did not work. iPhone X @ latest iOS 13 update, with iOS 12 all worked fine. Hope that Apple resolves the problem soon... 🤬
Just to clairify, while using Windows OS. after doing a ipconfig /release you dont do ipconfig /renew
as already mentioned above this does not help

that workaround is useless as I want to connect my iPhone to my car‘s navigation system.... still kind of ridiculous that Apple is not able to resolve the problem in months... 🤬
