I have always backup my iPhone to iTunes, yet I heard Apple is getting rid of iTunes

I heard Apple is going to get rid of iTunes. I have always backup my iPhone to iTunes. What's going to happen to all my files? Is Apple giving other options to backup iPhone? Thanks.

On a PC, or a Mac not being upgraded to Catalina, iTunes will remain as before.

On a Mac being upgraded to Catalina, the functions of iTunes will be divided between three new applications and the Finder.
