Downtime in Watch OS 6

I’ve tried everything and still not off. Workout app was blocked, I went to my phone and put “always allowed.” Nothing.

I hard reset my phone and my watch, and my watch is still stuck in downtime.

I waited it out— my phone downtime finishes at 7:15am. It’s 7:26am. My watch still thinks it’s on downtime.

I finally went to downtime limits on my phone and turned OFF the sync across devices. Hard reset both devices. Watch STILL thinks it’s downtime.

What gives???

I am having the same issue with Apple Watch Series 4.

Did you solve your problem? I am struggling with the same issue. I don’t even have downtime turned on on my phone.

That takes awhile because it factory resets and restores right?

yeah it takes a little while

My Apple Watch 5 with the latest update has my watch in down time my phone is not in downtime and not shareing accross devices this needs to be repaired asap

Are you referring to the downtime menu on the Watch or on the iPhone?

my watch does not appear in my downtime settings and even when I disable downtime for my phone, it is still stuck on my watch. Help! I can’t record workouts and it is a total pain!

Where is the downtime setting on the watch? It isn’t in Do Not Disturb. I have a series 2 running the most recent IOS.

One further complication is that I can only “test” whether it is not limiting when the downtime comes around at which point half of my watch is rendered useless.

I found it on the always allow list. Third from the bottom. I no longer think it’s a big, they are now including Apple Watch apps in downtime too. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason on how those apps are listed on the downtime list.

That’s how mine was, but now the workout app IS in my list, and downtime turns off at the right time. And my battery life is better. Unfortunately I have no idea what fixed it. Have you updated the phone and watch OS?

Im having the same problem with my series 5 it will not remove how do i get it off is this a bug?
