I booked a hotel in booking.com using my new Apple card. The directions from the hotel said I must bring ID and the card used to pay for the booking. They want to match card with number on reservation. Looking at Wallet not enough.

When you have to show your card you verify a transaction like hotel rental car Plane tickets what do you show them? The Apple card has no number no expiration date. I was texting with Apple support they the card in Wallet and got passed along the chain for 45 minutes. Ultimately they tried to connect me to the Apple card specialist at Goldman Sachs. I declined to be connected because my dinner that I had cooked while texting with them was ready. Why would Apple or a product out there they couldn't support? I will post again when this is resolved. Hope someone has some suggestions for me, I can't be the only one who has encountered this. Thank you!

The card number is stored digitally in Wallet. If the hotel does not accept that, that is a policy they need to change. This card has Apple's name on it and is integrated into the phone but it is a Goldman Sachs MasterCard. The app has a text and a call feature. I highly recommend calling over texting. The phone reps seem to be more able to help.
