QuickTime does not work with AirPlay 2

Hey guys

I just bought a brand new tv with AirPlay 2 support. AirPlay 2 works fine until i dont try to screen a movie in QuickTime. When i click on the airplay icon the tv appears and i click on the tv's name after that this (https://i.ytimg.com/vi/onV1TazXF2s/maxresdefault.jpg) window pops up but nothing happens. The film doesnt start what i can see is only this screen.

Apple TV airplay playing trailers but not shows/movies We can play trailers through our Apple TV via airplay but always get a ‘content could not be loaded’ when trying to play the actual movies or shows. We have been through all of the trouble shooting - same wifi, software updates, reboots, turned off subtitles, etc etc. The fact that we can play trailers suggest it is connected but odd cannot do anything more. Have even downloaded content before playing and that hasn’t helped. Any suggestions welcome pls!

Airplay My tv starts to play a video but then goes back to the Airplay screen. What do I do to fix this?

Airplay on apple TV4K works with YouTube but not other videos I saw this questions in the community but no answer. We use apple TV4K to mirror shows from our iMAC to TV screen via TV4K. Recently it stopped allowing all videos to mirror. The sound comes through but not the video. The video aspect DOES work for YouTube videos (suggesting the setup is fine) but not other videos shown on the web via streaming (various providers - pbs, Roku web etc). I've tried restarting everything and updating but no help. Is this a known problem that has no fix? Why it is selective for certain videos?
