Many of the contacts in my address book have several email addresses; e.g. home and work. But when I type a contact’s name into the address field of a new email, only one e-address appears, not allowing me any choice. Is there any way of circumventing this, other than making duplicate cards for all of my contacts with more than one e-address?

My apologies: my second post on this subject was a mistake. Something odd went wrong with my phone, which I have now rectified. The little arrow does appear if a contact has multiple e-addresses, and it does work.
Solved! iOS 13.1.1 has done it with a little arrow to the right of the first email address. Thank you, Apple!
To my astonishment and dismay, this appears no longer to be the case in iOS 13.1.3. What is one to do now if one wants to send an email to someone’s alternative email address?
