Milanese loop magnet rusting and breaking

The magnet in the STAINLESS STEEL band on my STAINLESS STEEL watch has been slowly eroding for the past year and now is constantly loosening. I might not mind if I hadn’t paid quite a bit more specifically to have STAINLESS STEEL. I swam with it on once and dried it after I got out of the pool and it’s NEVER been in salt water. It’s not right or fair that something is marketed as being made from a metal that’s durable and rust resistant can become unusable from sweating or washing one’s hands. I know I’ll be referred to the fine print somewhere but this is ridiculous.

No harsh chemicals, sweat is the worst it’s been exposed to. I’ve read similar complaints and Apple says it should be dried off after even washing your hands. I know the reason why it happened I just don’t think it should’ve happened. This thread wasn’t started to help me but someone else may read it and reconsider spending the extra coin for the stainless. It would be really cool if someone made replacement magnets
