I can no longer see my whole inbox of about 300 emails after doing the most recent update. It only shows emails since last week. Ive pulled up several times from the bottom and no more will load. Ive google searched the problem. Tried several things and nothings helping. I have Yahoo and an Iphone 7+ Im sure its a simple fix but I havent been able to figure it out. Help!

The same happened to my iPhone 7 after the new IOS 13 update. I tried tips I read on forum to no avail. I tried my own experiments and checked the All Inboxes box under Mailboxes and all my emails came back.

My entire email folder is gone😑 can’t even sign into email as the phone recognizes an the account is present in the phone.
There should be a way on this forum to alert Apple support so they can reply and see that lots of people have the same problem!

If you haven’t already, update your iPhone to iOS 13.1.1, one of the fixes of iOS 13.1 includes fixing an issue in Mail that may prevent background downloading of email messages which could be related. Follow the steps in these links to back up and update:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If that doesn’t help, remove the Yahoo! email account from your iPhone. Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Your Yahoo! account and tap Delete Account. Restart your iPhone and add the account from Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account. See if your mail loads as expected then.

The options listed here would only be helpful with an IMAP account. With a POP account, removing the account would lose all of those emails.
I have the same problem. I’ve been using iPhone since Gen 1, but since the iOS 13 update, emails older than 2 weeks are missing.

1) downloaded iOS update 13
2) delete junk emails ( select all + delete)
thats exactly what I did.
All emails from my inbox were deleted- I couldn’t find them in any folders or trash.
Tried it again. The same thing happened
