Clear shortcuts locations cache?

I am trying to set up some location triggers using the Shortcuts app on my iPhone X running iOS 13.1. But when I go to select a location for the geofence and type "home," it shows my old home address from three years ago! I would like to change this to reflect my current address, but I've been unable to identify the source of locations displayed in the Shortcuts app. Some things I've tried:

  • Changed the "Me" contact card, both by updating information in the current card, and by creating a totally new card (Settings-->Contacts-->My In
  • "General" setting --> "Reset" --> "Reset location and Privacy"
  • "General" setting --> "Safari" --> "Advanced" --> "Website data" --> "Remove all website data"

None of these have worked to remove or update the cached address. Does anyone know how to clear this?

Hello Scifitechguy.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, you are having some trouble with locating the source of your "Home" setting, so that you can set up Shortcut. I will be glad to assist.

Great steps at trouble shooting.

Additionally, let's also check to see how you are set as 'Home" in the Maps app.

Please see below from:

Use Maps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

"Add or remove your favorites

Want quick access to your frequent locations? Whether you want Maps to remember your home or office, adding favorites is easy: Here's how:

  1. Open Maps and select a location.
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Favorites.

To name, share, or remove a favorite:

  1. Open Maps and tap See All.
  2. Swipe left over the favorite, then tap Share or Remove. You can also tap the info button  next to the favorite to change the label, share your ETA, and more."

Cheers.

Thanks, but that's not exactly the problem. My "home" is working fine in Apple Maps. It shows up fine under "Favorites," and indicates the proper home address, and source as my "contact card." Entering "home" in other apps also brings up my correct current home address (Siri for example).

The problem is, my correct address is not showing up as my "home" in the new Apple Shortcuts app. There, it is displaying my old home address (from three years ago), and a bunch of other old addresses that are now incorrect. In addition, this old address list also appears in the same Shortcuts app on my new iPad, so it is being synced and propagated by iCloud. You can see this address list on iOS by opening Shortcuts and create a "new automation" that involves arriving or leaving a location. When you hit "Choose" a location, it displays a list of cached addresses. In my case, all of these addresses are very old, and no longer correct. I'd like to correct or delete this list, and have tried all the methods in my first post, but none of them seem to work. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated!
