I recent purchased an iPhone 11 with iOS 13. Now when I text I get previous group text suggestions. I use to be able to swipe left on them and delete them. Now it doesn’t seem possible. Am I missing something? I like to clear out previous group messages but just can’t figure it out.
How do you delete the green suggestion groups? Thanks in advance.
I did the software update and I see no change at all. I still get the annoying suggestions for groups. Not sure what joely277 meant by "clearing all open items."

Close all apps. Especially messages. Clear cache as well in Settings, Safari, Clear all is there.

All texts deleted in a timely matter. Suggested groups stay.
How to delete group text on I phone 11pro
Been googling this for months to see if there is a way to remove history group texts as i am a coach and send group texts but some parents have changed phones so now it’s hard to work out which i send to since it keeps all history. Do we believe apple will resolve this soon? If not i’ll not buy apple phones again as this is driving me crazy
I also logged a call with the apple helpdesk as this def needs fixing quickly. Ideally in the next release as it's basic. Why would they remove this.. So when typing 'A' I get everyone appearing just about.. Please apple sort this out and resolve it quickly..
Doesn’t look like Apple is interested in fixing as the issue has been ongoing. Android / Samsung the only current fix. Not even the obligatory Apple response of “we’ll look into it” anymore. So much for customer service.
Michellet18 can't answer the question because apple took away the functionality. Just like you can't stop the phone from making memories out of your photos. I'm so sick of trying to figure away or opting out of something. Change the thought process. If someone wants to do something let them opt in. Instead of having the entire apple world figure out how to opt out. Bottom line is this problem has not gone away. This is why Michelle won't respond because she can't.
Shutting off suggestions doesn't fix the issue. I just shut off everything and its still giving me group message history. Even for people I've delete from my phone.

I have tried everything and still not able to remove history group chats. Please can we have a resolution to this asap
Just installed latest patch and it doesn’t resolve this issue. Come on let’s get this resolved as driving me mad.
