English language on "Eteindre" menu

According the update of sierra 12.6 of 27 september 2019, all the menus are in French, except switch off or I fall on shut down ( in english in text) , see screenshot.

How to have this menu in french ?

before giving an answer without interest, here is the solution :


Open the Terminal application that you will find in your "Utilities" folder.

Enter the command: sudo languagesetup

You will be prompted to enter your password. Enter your password and validate (Attention it is not displayed).

You can then enter the default Language of your Mac. In our case for French, it's 2. Finally, do not forget to validate.

Finish by restarting your Mac and normally all shutdown and standby messages will appear in French.
