iPhone 11 dual back cameras reveal difference in imaging while zooming

I can clearly see a change in color and contrast when I use the zoom wheel and watch it switch between the two cameras. While zooming in from the 0.5x camera to the transition point of the 1.0x camera, the contrast suddenly increases, resulting in less color saturation and a change in color temperature. They say these cameras are closely matched at the factory. What is considered normal tolerance? Am I suppose to accept this as par for the course? Can other iPhone 11 users try zooming in and report what happens to the contrast and color? I don't know if I should exchange or accept this as normal behavior.

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple. Also, see How to find your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Distributor (AAD).

Before driving 1 hour to the nearest Apple Store, what I'm trying to assess is if the difference between the two cameras, as noticed by other iPhone 11 owners, when you switch between the two cameras, e.g. scrolling between .5x and 1x in Video or Photo mode.

I notice a change in color temperature, contrast., and noise. I'm trying to determine what is considered "acceptable," since Apple said these cameras were closely matched at the factory for every iPhone. Attached are photos showing an observable change in color temperature, contrast and noise when switching back and forth to the Widescreen camera from the Normal camera. If others do not see this, then I'll make the call and long drive to the Apple Store.
