I've recently purchased a new 256gb Touch on the basis that it supports FLAC files (I'm a bit of an audiophile)
However, I have found today that iTunes does NOT support FLAC file format!
How exactly am I meant to listen to FLAC files on my iPod then? Currently feeling a bit let down...
You can convert them without quality loss to Apple's ALAC format. [edit: iTunes will not do this. I would use a tool such as XLD.]
Alternatively you can use a third party player but it's a bit of a nuisance with no playlists, etc.
