3D Touch has become useless

Upgraded to iOS 13 on my iPhone XS Max and found out that the 3D Touch feature has been replaced with haptic touch. I spend more than $2000 to buy this phone to work as advertised by Apple with all the features. I am really disappointed that I paid for this Feature to work as well when I bought my iPhone. All of a sudden this feature goes missing because Apple decided so. Am really disappointed and want this feature back as I paid for the hardware which is capable of making full use of this. The haptic touch is just not capable of the feeling that using 3D Touch gives. I hope to hear from Apple on this soon.

To add to deggie's response, if the update did actually disable it, there is a software option to reenable it. Go to Settings -> General -> Accessability -> Touch -> 3D & Haptic Touch. There is then a setting to enable or disable 3D Touch. Make sure it's enabled. Disabling it disables 3D Touch but does leave haptic touch enabled.

Also: You won't hear from Apple here. Apple is not on these forums - simply other users like you who wish to help out if we can.
