2019 VW JETTA-APPLE CARPLAY

I was without this feature for a week and thought I tried everything to get it to work again. It was NOT the USB cord like multiple forums said. It was NOT the iOS system I am using.

It's a RESET that happens in the car, NOT your phone. Without your phone plugged in, locate "APP Connect" on your car's display menu. Reset to Factory Settings. BOOM!! Plug your phone back in and the rest should look familiar.

Reading previous posts, I saw this was a problem at the end of 2018 with one of the releases of iOS 12. Could the most recent release of iOS 12 have brought this problem back?

Apple Car Play disconnects randomly from my iPhone 12 My Apple CarPlay in my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado randomly started disconnecting from my iPhone 12. I freed up storage to make sure that wasn’t the case, and updated my phone to the latest update. The problem is that when I try to “forget car” or whatever, my CarPlay settings won’t load. They just sit there and time out everytime. Same thing with the truck’s Bluetooth when I try to disconnect or forget it. Help is appreciated! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple CarPlay Connection I recently purchased a car with Apple CarPlay. It always connects via the USB cord with any phone the first time, but if the first connection is unplugged, it won't connect again during that trip. I've tried restarting the car, restarting the phone, restarting CarPlay, connecting the same phone, connecting a different phone, using a phone with different IOS versions, using a different cord (yes, it's an Apple one), and nothing seems to work. So if I'm out running errands, and I unplug my phone at the first stop, I can't connect again that trip. If my daughter connects her phone, and I drop her off, I can't use mine. If I go to use the car later in the day or the next day, it will work again...the first time only. Am I missing something here? Is there a setting I need to change?
