Deleting bulk unread email messages
Are you able to “Select All” emails after putting a sort/filter? I want to “select all” unread messages to delete, not delete the whole inbox.

Hello MBAAtlanta.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that you want to select and delete only unread emails in your iPhone Mail. I’m happy to help.
While you can Select All emails to delete or mark read, there isn’t an option to select and only delete unread email.
Take care.
You used to be able to select Edit, then one email and press Move and release that email and then you could put all of unread into Trash. With the new software upgrade you can’t do it any more.
Apple why? There must be a way of deleting unread emails at once. What about companies that get masses of junk? They can’t individually delete each one.
