Safari iPadOS not displaying images on Wordpress sites correctly
WordPress sites using the popular Twenty Seventeen theme include panels (sections) on the front page. These panels are ‘inlaid’ from other pages in the site, and display the featured image from those pages as the front page of the site is scrolled.
The web pages display correctly when viewed on
- desktop computers
- laptop computers
- phones (including iPhones running iOS 13.1)
- iPads running iOS up to version 12.x.
The web pages do not display correctly when viewed in
- Safari on iPads with iPadOS 13.1 installed. The featured images are magnified / zoomed to the point that they are unrecognizable.
The web pages display correctly when viewed in
- Chrome on iPads with iPadOS 13.1 installed.
