ios update

my Phone requested for the iOS 13.1 update 2 days ago but has yet updated, what should I do? I have to have my phone update In order to set up my Apple Watch so I need help!

I've found that updating through iTunes to be more efficient method. Also, Have the phone on charging cable during update.
