can anyone advise me of the packaged dimensions of a 27” 2019 iMac?

I quickly got my measuring tape, see below. Just a rough measurement though (27" model box).. I longer have the 21.5 models or the box.

Common sense telling it will not go through TSA screening, it has to be checked baggage. If you order directly from Apple Store Online they will ship brand new 2019 27" iMac to your location, via FedEx or UPS, also it's signature required on delivery. Unless you fill out release authorization form, and attach it somewhere, telling FedEx or UPS to leave it, so they will not be liable if your iMac is stolen.

Why would you need to do or worry about all of that?

When you can simply buy the iMac directly from Apple and have them ship it to you.

Then why don't you simply measure the package??

The machines and handlers are by no means gentle.
