Self-play and Loop Slides at changing intervals

I have my slides set to self play and loop so I can set up the presentation to continuously play on screen. However some slides I need to remain on screen for 5 seconds and others with videos to stay on screen till the video has completed.

How do I get the Slides to have their own individual timed transitions? I know I can do a recording, but then how to I get the recording to automatically loop at the end?

  • Don't use Recorded Slideshow as this can't loop the presentation
  • Set Presentation Type to Normal in: Inspector > Document > Document
  • Select the first slide in the Navigator then go to Inspector > Animate:

in the Start Transition dropdown menu, select Automatically

in the delay entry box, set the time required for that specific slide

Repeat with individual timings for each slide

Set the presentation to loop in Inspector > Document > Document
