Spotify not installing after updating to watch os 6

Hi. I had exactly the same issue. Tried everything that you did. I managed to resolve it by going to all the apps on the watch itself, open the App Store, search for Spotify and double click the cloud symbol, and it installed perfectly. Seems to be an issue downloading it from the phone’s watch app.

I had the same problem with Spotify after the recent updates. Since then, I’ve unpaired/re-paired, got Spotify to install by going through the App Store on my watch as suggested, but a bunch of my other apps now won’t install, including Uber, Messenger, etc. If anyone comes up with a solution, I’d love to hear it.

After updating my phone and my watch several apps won’t install on my Apple Watch. I’ve tried all the fixes I can find online but nothing has worked. I have a series 3. Apps that won’t install include the Nike app. Spotify. Uber. FB messenger. ESPN.

Update: unpair/re-pair, was successful and I’m able to see the app on watch again. Hope it doesn’t suddenly disappear again (possibly was due to recent iPhone iOS update). Thanks for your help

I’m glad it worked for you. Only had the problem since I updated to os6. I find it irritating when things don’t work properly. Spotify on the watch is handy.
