Apple IPhone X (Xr) Silicone Case

This is the first time this has happened from a timing perspective and I was hoping someone on here could shed some light on it -- My son has an IPhone X (Xr) which is in need of a new case. He prefers the "standard," silicone cases from Apple with a screen protector over other options. We went into the Apple store after the IPhone 11 launch and there are NONE to be found -- a few (very) expensive battery cases and hard-plastic ones, but none of the silicone ones.

What did Apple do with the IPhone X cases? They seem to be gone online, too. Are they available?

Note that the iPhone X and the iPhone Xr are two different models.

If you are looking for an Apple designed silicone case for the Xr you may still find some through 3rd parties; one example: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Case-Silicone-iPhone-inch/dp/B07KR6565Z

Look for them third-party. iPhone X has been discontinued by Apple since September 2018. It's likely that Apple doesn't sell them anymore, but the iPhone Xs cases should fit aswell. Note that X and Xr are different models.
