Can't see iCloud photos uploaded from PC in my iPhone

I have the latest version of iCloud desktop for Windows 10 installed, and I have iOS 13.1 running on my iPhone 6s.

I moved a jpg file into the "iCloud Photos -> Uploads" folder on my desktop. I can see this file perfectly in iCloud.com, along with all the photos that are currently stored on my iPhone. However, when I try to find the photo on my iPhone 6s, it is nowhere to be seen. Any thoughts as to what I'm not doing correctly?

My iPhone settings under Photos:

  • iCloud Photos: ON
  • Download and Keep Originals CHECK
  • Upload to My Photo Stream OFF
  • Shared Albums ON
  • Transfer to Mac or PC: Keep Originals CHECK

I suggest you plug your iPhone into power and keep it on Wi-FI for a while. It may take a while for the photos to upload onto your iPhone.

It does sound like your settings are correct.
