moving photos to an album

I had a 6s plus before and never had an issue with selecting pics and them moving or sorting them into albums.

since I got the 11 pro max, i can no longer see this option. How do i now move selected pics from my “Recent” album to another one?

I do not where you are looking at " Recents", however know the process here --> Organize photos in albums on iPhone - Apple Support
