AirPods Case Lid Loose + Clicking

I got my 2nd Gen AirPods 2 Days ago. Right after I opened the box, as I was handling the AirPods, I noticed that as I ran my finger down them the lid was misaligned. I said heck it is probably normal. But yesterday it started moving sideways. Now today it clicks when moving sideways. Is this normal? How many people seem to be affected by this issue if so?
