I updated my iphone to ios 13 and I don’t know why my Apple watch unpaired itself! And when I go to watch app on my iphone i neet to update apple watch software to pair! But it doesn’t update and there’s an error says: unable to check for update please help me I literally can’t use my apple watch right now!

The same thing happened to me, except that my watch is locked. It was set to unlock when my iPhone unlocks, but since it was unpaired, I can’t unlock it. So, every time I try to erase everything from the watch to reset it, it comes back locked with the same photo background from before. I still can’t unlock it, nor update it. What should I try next?
