Apple Pay isn’t working

The cards show up and it tells me to hold it near reader. Then nothing’s happens. Tried everything

I, including many others, face the same problem in iphone 6S/7/8 models and neither 13.1 nor 13.1.2 updates have fixed this issue yet. Apple should look into this as early as possible.
