is the Magic Keyboard compatible with a iMac from late 2013?

I was thinking of changing my keyboard to get one that doesn't require batteries, but it looks like the 2 magic keyboards that you can buy on Apple website are not compatible with my iMac? I would just like a confirmation as I don't see why there would be a compatibility problem since my iMac has Bluetooth. Thank you.

As long as you are running OS 10.11 or higher, the system reqs in the online Store say yes:

2013 iMacs shipped with either OS8 or OS 9 so you would have needed to upgrade along the way. What OS are you now running?

Like the others have said, the basic function should be there. There may be specific function key actions that only higher OS versions support but you can type the usual stuff.
