Lightning splitter that actually works?

Any suggestions for a lightning splitter that actually works? I've tried a Belkin and some cheap brands from Amazon. Common complaint for all is that they only work for a little while then start to fail or generate "device is not compatible" error.

Using an iPhone 7 with iOS 13.
