Logic Pro X the Catch when playback Head is not doing anything anymore

I have a logic project that is used in a live show with click track to me the drummer. Normally I highlight/make blue the catch thing shown in this screen shot and then the playhead stays in the centre and the project continuously moves to the left so I can see whats coming up at all times. This has worked for years. Suddenly on the second set in a theatre the playhead goes to the far right then refreshes with a new screen. I've tried every option and combination of options in this catch playhead thing and nothing works. I rebooted computer, phoned Apple tech support and nothing has worked. I'm hoping there is some little thing that needs to be turned on. I have 3 shows this weekend and hope to have it working by friday if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you
