my new iphone 11 is stuck loading trying to verify my identity through my carrier

I typed in my pin for verizon so that my iPhone could verify my identity through my carrier. Now I have the loading wheel of death. I can’t turn the iPhone off. What do I do?

I am 64 and have metastatic bone cancer and can’t trust my iPhone can not trust Verizon and can’t trust Apple to help me harden my security or do a thorough scan , I have already been victim of sim swap and some one trying to steal $179 thru thru a debit card I only have on my iPhone but Verizon stated it was not on there end luckily the credit union call d me . We received a new iPhone under warrantee and are not able to set it up we received a new iPhone under warrantee and are not able to set it up. The message on the phone says: SIM card is from a carrier that is not supported. our Cartier is AT&T and I even took it in for a new SIM card but that did not fix the issue.
