On the home page, there is a calendar page, local weather link etc that I don’t want. They are widgets I guess. How do I get rid of them. They are not book,
marks that I put there. Thanks.

With widgets, from your far left home screen page, swipe the screen to the right, that brings up the widget page and there should be an option to edit, which will allow you to remove any widgets you do not want.
