It says preparing and as soon as it’s finished preparing it crashes and goes to home screen

Check iCloud drive in your settings if it’s off turn it on then test It By trying to email the video in my case it was off because I never use iCloud drive before I turned it on then went back to Photos and email the video and it worked

I think it’s a bug in iOS but I think I find a solution. In my case I was using an iPhone 7 Plus and then I bought 11 Pro Max had the same problem so I messed with my settings on both phones and found if I turn on iCloud drive then it works like it’s supposed to.With iCloud drive on I can now send videos as emails as normal
Update your phone to the newest software 13.3 that should solve your issue
It also happens on iOS 13.2 on both phones
Just turn on iCloud drive and you should have no more problems

I have iPhone Xs Max, iOS 13.1.3 and have the same problem. I tap "Share" in Photos and select a video. The phone does the usual "Preparing" thing for 10-20 seconds. But then the Photos app abruptly closes, Mail never opens, and the phone returns me to the Home screen.
Erased the phone and re-download the software (restored the phone) and it’s still happens it’s the stock photos app cannot delete it.
