How do I get Today View to display the search box, right below the time and date? I used that search function A LOT from there.
This issue started when I updated to iPadOS 13.
I searched Settings high and low to get that search box back on there with no luck. Any ideas?

So when I do that, I get Notifications. I'm talking about Today View -- search box in the space between the time and date and Siri App Suggestions.

You are still doing it wrong. Look at my screenshot. See where the green arrow is pointing, I’m that approximate area, swipe down.
Try swiping down from the middle of the screen.

Hi, forget about the Today View, simply swipe down from anywhere on the Home screen away from the edge. That is in the middle of the screen, not from the edge.
Hi, if you are getting notifications then you are swiping down from the edge. Keep well away from the edge. Place your finger in the gap between Facebook and Photos and then swipe down.
