right arrow key its goin left

Great, thank you! It’s working again here too. All I did was turning off assistive touch in the accessibility settings. No more mouse now, but smart keyboard & Pages understand each other again. :)

Ill report to Apple anyway, as this seems to be a bug.

Try this:

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility and turn off the following items, as applicable:

 - Spoken Content

      - Speak Screen <- Most likely to be the problem.

      - Typing Feedback

           - Characters

           - Character Hints

           - Speak Words

 - Voice Over

 - Switch Control

 - Voice Control

2. Relaunch the application. If it still doesn’t solve it, then reboot the device and then relaunch the application.

If the above fixes it, please report back what setting was causing the problems for you. Thanks!

Turn off all Accessibility settings, restart your device and test again.

if that doesn’t work, then do this:

Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.

then test it again. It will work properly.

Same here, on iPad Air 3. Weird bug, because it works like normal in some apps, but right arrow key moves left in others. This issue is particularly noticeable in Keynote, Numbers, and pages. This was my response from Apple Support.

”Apple Engineering has received reports of this symptom and are investigating. Further updates, if any, may come by way of a software update, knowledge base article, or software release”

you are one of two people that seem to have posted here about this in the past few days. Please use the Provide Feedback menu option from within the program to let Apple know of the bug.

(tap the three dot button in the top right of the screen when the app is open, and select provide feedback option near or at the bottom of the menu)

I have the exact same error.

I was able to fix it (temporarily) by doing a Reset All Settings.

After a while the problem return.

I suspect it may relearn a bad configuration from iCloud.

I just got off the chat with Tech Support, they told me someone will contact me in 10 minutes, but already passed and no call yet.

At least I'm not the only one with this issue.

Pressing Option+right arrow will help this situation temporarily. And I found that Keynote also has the same symptom.

The right directional key on my smart keyboard moves the cursor left as well. This is actually true for Numbers and Keynote too. Clearly an iWork bug that needs to be addressed. I wonder when thus will be fixed.

I’m calling this a bug, for that’s what it is.

I have the lates iPad Pro and use a Apple Magic Keyboard. Everything as fine until I updated Pages. After that the Right Key goes Left. Really frustrating.

This is also happening to me. I use iPad Pro With Logitech bluletooth keyboard for work. I produce a lot of documents for construction on pages and numbers. This started happening after my latest iOS update. APPLE- fix this. Causing such a headache! Efficiency becomes difficulty with every new “update”. Funny thing, the right arrow works fine here!

Same issue here in Pages on an iPad Pro 11“ running iPadOS 13 and Apples Smart Keyboard. In Pages, the cursor goes to the left when I hit the ‚go right‘ key. Insane. The proposed modification in accessibility settings didn’t help. What I do have activated in accessibility settings is mouse support (within assisitive touch). However, turning this off again doesn’t help.

I only needed to shut down a few of them not all. Can’t remember off the head, but definitely turned off touch. I kept on, rest finger on home screen to unlock screen and no need to tap. (I have iPad Pro 2017 model 10.5 screen)
