Cannot get Hotspot to work between iPhone and MacBook Pro since iOS 13.
So, I could use some help.
Problem...
I made the mistake of updating my iPhone 7 Plus last week to iOS 13 (later 13.1.x), and now the Hotspot feature stopped working.
Description...
The MacBook Pro is running 10.14.6 and the iPhone 7 Plus is running 13.1.2.
I have tried innumerable times from my MacBook Pro to connect to my iPhone; it will activate, then disconnect, and go to another Wi-Fi source.
No matter how many times I attempt to connect, it will connect for only a few seconds...disconnect...then go to another source.
Things I've tried...
Restarting all devices. --No dice.
Reset Network Settings. --No dice.
Signed out/in to iCloud on all devices --nothing, still doesn't work.
However, my SUV Infotainment HU will connect to the iPhone via Hotspot. --No problem there.
Workarounds...
At the moment, I have no workaround at all; it just doesn't work since iOS 13, or 13.1.2 for that matter.
I am at a loss, and this is a function/feature I use quite regularly. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
