ghost emails showing up in mail app (Gmail)

Since i upgraded to ios 13.1.2 I am receiving Ghost emails in the "Mail" App on my phone….A ton of old emails have showed up in my inbox again that I have dealt with already…seems if I search

for something or go into the sent folder, all the emails associated with that

contact I was searching for just show up in my inbox?

I checked the "Gmail" app and they are not there so it's only the "Mail" app on my phone.

I Tried to turn off the mail toggle, shut the phone off, restarted it opened up the mail toggle

again, but it didn't work.

Use the "Mark As Read" Option:

With Mail Open, you need to Select All of these, then Mark them as Read.

Open: Mail App

Open: The Unread mailbox

Tap: Edit

Tap: Mark All

Select: Mark As Read

It’s definitely a bug of iOS 13. Really annoying. The search function was finally recently really useful and helpful. Now it’s just annoying to have to mark read hundreds of messages after a search. Annoying!!

I don't use Gmail, so the last thought I have is to report this as a bug to Apple using: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Select "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type:"

they are already marked as unread.
