Can I disable speaker rotation (speakers swapping sides when phone is in landscape mode)?

I own an iPhone 8+ and one of my speakers is blown. It sounds very irritating with the one blown speaker, so I correct this by going to settings > accessibility > audio/visual, turning my sound on mono, and turning the balance all the way to Left. This turns the right speaker off and works great and solves the issue unless I turn my phone into the landscape positions (when I’m watching videos or playing games.) When I turn the phone counter clockwise 90 degrees, which is most natural for me, the primary speaker switches back to the blown speaker. If I turn my phone clockwise, it will switch back to the other speaker. I realize what it’s doing, compensating speaker position when rotated, but is there a way to turn this feature off so I can rotate my phone counter clockwise without activating my blown speaker?

Hello PhilLeshPhan.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, one of your speakers on the iPhone 8 Plus is not working properly, and you would like to know if there is a specific setting to control your speaker selection. I will be glad to assist.

There is not a setting for this, however I would recommend having your iPhone 8 Plus checked out by an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store.

Here's how to find a location:
