iPadOS 13.1.2 with iPad 5th gen ?

Hi guys.

I have an iPad 5th gen (2017) 32gb wifi only.

I know that my device built with A9 chip and 1gb ram.

So, if i update it to the latest iPadOS 13.1.2 will it be slow down or makes a bit laggy?

Note:

I see some review on youtube about my question, and it seems so laggy. But I’m not sure because the review use a screen recording.

Thank you :)

There have been NO adverse reports of any issues from iPad 5th or 6th gen owners concerning any issues with iPadOS.

As long as you make a full backup of your iPad before you begin the upgrade process, everything should go fine.

When you finish upgrading your 5th gen iPad, do a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

Actually, your 2017, iPad 5th gen has 2 GBs of RAM, not 1 GB.

iPadOS shoukd fine on the 5th gen iPad.

It has nearly the same CPU as the 2015, 1st gen iPad Pro, that I have, and the 2016, 9.7 inch screen iPad Pro

5th gen iPad has the A9 CPU ( the 2015 and 2016 iPad Pros had an A9X CPU ).

Plus, your iPad supports Memoji stickers.

Your 5th gen iPad should work and function fine on iPadOS.

Backup your 5th gen iPad, first, before performing ANY iOS upgrades/updates.

Make sure your 5th gen iPad has, at least 4GB of available internal free data storage space.

Good Luck to You!
