iPhone email signature image not showing
Since updating to ios13, my email signature logo is not showing in my email.
It is saved in signatures, so the signature is coming across, but the logo is a blank box?

The shake to undo changes worked on the formatting for me but did not solve the image issue. Still comes up as a “null” box.

You only do it manually one time if you do it according to my instructions. Spark app-create signature and insert image from a picture button in spark app. Then create a new email, copy the whole signature.
Go to iPhone settings - emails - signature and paste the signature.
So you are saying that you have to manually add your signature logo every time? If yes, that's correct, I have no issue sending images or adding them. The issue is with the image we load into the signature setting embedding itself into a new email or a response to an HTML email.
This needs to be fixed.... I send sometimes 300 emails a day. Want my logo back and not have to do it manually!!!
Because it adds credibility to the email; boosts brand recognition; You must've heard that "a picture is worth a thousand words," so, it can be an effective marketing tool for those, who do not have the budget for marketing, etc. etc.
Again, to reiterate- not everyone has the resources that you speak of. ...
Thanks for coming back to me Alex.
Saving the signature is fine; it's the company logo/image that is not saving.
I can cut and paste the signature including the logo, but when I send an email, the text of the signature is there, but the logo is not, just a white box with 'null' written inside.
When I check the signatures in the account, the logo has disappeared again.
This was not the case prior to update....
What I did was I created the html email signature on outlook even though it wasn’t showing I sent it to my gmail account. It was showing the picture on my gmail so I copied that from gmail and paste it then shake it, surprisingly it worked!!!!
I was having the same issue with my iPad and iPhone. The way below is worked for me.
Please feedback me to know if it worked for you or not.
Warm Regards;
Cengiz.
Nice picture, Heather.
#1 You should register "The 2 dots company" in your name and there you have it - the 2 dots actually serve a purpose ;-)
#2 On the serious side: The way you went about it is not quite the way I did, so let's see if this "recipe" works better for you, as it did for me:
Now go to the Settings -> Mail -> Signature, delete everything (a little cumbersome) and then paste
Directly from the Spark "new mail" - not using the native app at all, until you're done.
I believe copying from the native app removes some of the formatting.
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, some of us are 1099 and/or have a website on a host server, nor do we have an IT department. Still, that wouldn’t help the issue with creating a signature with a photo, logo, etc. on our phones.
You didn't read the message correctly. The problem is since upgrading to iOS 13, HTML email signatures do not work. As "signature-logo-not-showing-ios," stated, you can paste an html signature, complete with company logo and colored fonts or formatting, but it is not included in the signature in your message. Image is displayed as a box with "null" in it. Font is displayed as black only.
I was changing the email signature image and then i got the same problem. I tried many things, html signature, testing outlook copy paste etc etc.
What did fix it for me was using Spark the email app from app store. I created a signature and pasted in the image from my picture library. Then opened a new email and copy pasted the whole signature. Paste it in the original mail app signature.
Fixed my problems!
***Please Read Carefully***
there is obviously something that has broken in iOS 13 regarding HTML signatures. Here is the fix for your mail app.
Hey there signature-logo-not-showing-ios,
Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand your email signature is not showing after updating to iOS 13. I’ll be happy to help with this.
Go to Settings > Mail > Signature and edit your signature. Restart your iPhone and test by sending yourself an email to see if the signature shows.
If you have multiple accounts, see if this is just affecting one account or all. If it’s affecting just certain accounts, go to Settings > Mail > Account Name and delete the account from your iPhone. Restart and add the account back. See if this helps.
You can read more about adding a signature to your Mail on iPhone here:
Address and send email in Mail on iPhone
Best wishes.
I'm having the same issue when I compose a new email. When I reply to an email, it works fine. I get a prompt asking if I want to include attachments, I hit yes, and it shows the image. For a new email, I just see a blank box.
Having the same issue! A blank box shows up for me where the picture should be. It’s very annoying and looks unprofessional. Any work around would be great!
