Hello, it seems that some numbers, maybe ones that were copy and pasted from another source document are highlighted faintly when editing the SUM formula and are throwing off the final calculation. Any ideas?
One thing you could try is command-c to copy and then, in another range of cells, Edit > Paste and Match Style.

Check to see if they are formatted as number values. SUM would ignore text values.
