iphone 8 plus and itunes icon problem displays 3x6 and not 4x6

Hi all.

I just got the iPhone 8 PLUS and very happy with it. One of the problems I have come across is when I connect to iTunes it only shows 3x6 App Icons (3 across 6 down) and at the bottom it shows only 2 icons and not 4

Is there any way to adapt it to display 4X6 which the iPhone 8 PLUS is showing (Not including the bottom 4).

Would appreciate any help. BTW I have iTunes 12.6.5.3 so I can see my Apps and latest firmware/software for iPhone 8 PLUS

Are you using any of the Windows DPI scaling options that might confuse things? Apple have archived the support page where that version is hosted so I guess they're not interested in actively supporting it.

I'm talking about options to make fonts or icons larger on a high resolution screen. They're adjustments you might make in the displays control panel in Windows. It is possible that such a setting might increase the icon size, meaning fewer can be shown without overlapping the border and are thus not drawn. Do the three columns that are shown match the device? If you try to change the order by dragging something to the right do the hidden apps pop into view?
