I read that apple is fixing the Apple Watch series 3 screens for free because of some flaw in the design. I can’t find my receipt which should be in my email but I can’t find it..: will apple still fix it for free?!?

If your watch is Aluminum and the cracked screen meets Apple's definition as described in this link......https://support.apple.com/screen-replacement-program-apple-watch-series-2-3 it will qualify for replacement.
You can always get your proof of purchase by going to the Apple Store App on your iPhone and clicking on the small round avatar in the top right of the screen. Tap on orders and follow the prompts to "Invoice" and you will be able to print out the invoice.
