Just installed latest update. Friend finder app has disappeared. After searching it seems I need a new app titled ”find my. It was not automatically added after update And I have no clue how to add it. Please help.

In version iOS 13 or later, there is a new app called "Find My", which contains (and replaces) Find My iPhone and Find My Friends apps. The icon should be where Find my iPhone was, or in Extras, or in Settings>[your name].

Thanks to both of you! I feel that I have gone through all of the steps suggested. I can see the app in my settings and I have turned everything on, but I don’t know how to add the app to my home screen. I have iPhone XR.
"Find My" icon could be:
in the same place where the replaced Find my iPhone app was before the update;
or
in "Extras" folder (or in a different forlder);
or
in a different screen page;

The app has been redesigned, renamed to Find My, and may be in the Extras folder.
