Cannot add debit card to Apple Pay following iPhone restore

I had to restore my iPhone and restore it from ITunes as I couldn’t remember my passcode to unlock my iPhone. I have managed to restore my iPhone from an iCloud backup but now I can’t add my debit card to Apple Pay. It’s stating the card cannot be added. I also received an email from apple stating the two cards that used to be my iPhone using Apple Pay have been removed and can no longer be used on my iPhone. I’ve managed to add one of them back successfully but not the main one that I use, that is with first direct back. I’ve tried to add it by putting in the cvv number and adding it as a new card. Neither option has worked. Please can you help me to get my card back on my iPhone again as I use it every day via Apple Pay. Thank you.
