charter email not syncing on iphone

the emails that I delete on my charter email on my computer appear on my iPhone, even though I deleted them already. How can I fix this?

Emails deleted on one device aren't being deleted on the other device(s) I have several email accounts - personal and business. When I delete an email from any of the accounts on either my iPhone or iMac it doesn't automatically delete it from the other device. I'm pulling out what hair I have left! What's the fix??? Thanks.

Be certain your email account is set up as IMAP, and not POP3. Charter may need to provide you instructions how to do that.
