Memory Stick & SD card Storage Limits
When I try to export photos from MAC Photos to either memory sticks or SD cards, the export stops at about 140 MB and produces this message: Could not write files to destination (1001). These devices have capacities ranging from 250 MB to 2 GB so they are far from being full. I have tried reformatting with different formats but with the same result. This problem seems to be independent of the storage device. Internet searches have produced no useful information.
As an example, on a trip, I used a SD card in my camera to record photos which I imported to Mac Photos (for editing) yet when I tried to export them back to the same SD card only a fraction are exported and the message above is produced.
Interestingly, all the photos exported to a new unused 25 GB memory stick with no problem.
Why does the exportation stop at about 140 MB and is there a fix?
