Deleting iMessages

In iMessages, all the texts I receive from then same party (e.g. Vodafone) appear as one long conversation. Some of the texts are simply the code for authentications and do not need to be retained. Others are important messages that need to be kept.

How do I delete selected texts from a long list without deleting them all?

  1. Tap and hold on one of the speech bubbles
  2. until a tool bar appears with: Copy, Speak More...
  3. Tap More...
  4. Then circles appear to the left of the messages, tap (check) the ones you wish to delete, then tap the garbage bin on the bottom left corner.
