My iPhone7 cannon connect to the POP server for my outlook mail. All the info for the account is correct. It just started doing this on it's own. Mail account still works fine on my PC. I can send mail on my phone, just not receive. No "sent" folder is shown under mailboxes

Apple support was wrong. When you delete an app or an email account, the settings for it remain on the phone until you restart the phone. So if you add the account (or app) back it gets the same settings that didn't work.
Delete the account from the phone, power cycle the phone, and then add it back.
I did not know the origin, just heard in on a John Candy movie and figured it meant "Everything's Jake". Thanks everyone for your help.
Okay, so it would have helped had you said that. I don't want to waste your time. What email provider? What happens when you attempt to connect? Is it incoming or outgoing mail that is the problem? When you added the account back, did it verify correctly? Does this happen on cellular, wi-fi or both?
